This is a soft French-style loaf made with a good amount of butter, eggs, milk, and Italian "00" flour. The unconventional use of a sourdough starter and natural fermentation allows it to develop a more savoury flavour profile. It is shaped as a sandwich loaf for easy slicing and is perfect for 'French toasts', grilled-cheese sandwiches, as well as bread and butter pudding.
