Who are we?
TABC aims to make the best breads in India without any compromise to quality and business ethics. It was set up in 2017 by Akshay Kering who, shaped by his experiences in India, Spain, and France, believed that Pune, a city with iconic bakeries, should have better bread. Over time, TABC has made over 300 unique types of bread and presently sells not only to individuals but also to many restaurants across Pune.

Since its founding, TABC has sold products to over 2,000 individual clients and 24 wholesale clients. In 2023, we made 179 different types of bread and sold a total of 73,850 loaves to 1,076 customers – each made by hand.

What do we do?
We use a slow, natural fermentation process that lasts between 24 to 48 hours to develop robust character and bold flavour. We manually shape and bake high quality flours like wheat and millets which still retain their nutritional value to make the best breads for our retail customers, restaurants, and cafés.
Why do we do it?
We are passionate about making the best tasting bread with a variety of ingredients. We want to dispel the myths and bad reputation that bread has developed in recent times, owing to poor ingredient selection and mass production. We aim to offer high quality bread that tastes great and is a healthy part of people's diets.
How do we do it?
Baking is a testament of human skill that transcends millennia. We believe that the best bread is made slowly with wholesome, natural ingredients. In order to make high quality, flavourful, and healthy bread, we only use the best natural ingredients and no preservatives, substitutes or additives.
